Can moving a Konica Regius 110 without locking the carriage in place cause damage to the Optical Unit?

Yes, there’s always a chance. Just bring it forward and lock it into place, like you would if you were cleaning the optics, If you’re just moving it within the department, going gently over the bumps.
If you are transporting it to another facility etc., I would put the shipping brackets on.

The facility moved it over a tube stand rail without locking it in place and now they have a 06650 error

Hi, i have almost the same problem, just moving mine in a very short distance in same room. But the lock bracket was dammaged and now ERROR CODE 06550. Help me please????
