Fujifilm Medical Systems has announced a contract with Premier Inc., the second largest group purchasing organization (GPO) in the U.S., for its Systems Integration (SI) division's technology.
Fujifilm’s SI technology will be on contract with Premier for their “Operating room (OR) Integration & Automation Systems” offering for three years beginning on February 1, 2021. The deal will extend the potential reach of Fujifilm’s SI technology to approximately 4,100 hospitals and health systems and more than 200,000 other providers and organizations.
“We are proud that Premier has chosen to endorse Fujifilm’s innovative SI technology created to enhance workflow for OR managers, surgeons, and other clinical staff,” says Devon Bream, global vice president endoscopy, general manager systems integration, Fujifilm Medical Systems, in a statement. “This contract truly validates Fujifilm’s SI offering, which is a unique and powerful, IT-based solution serving hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers to drive efficiencies, patient safety, surgical performance, and ultimately, better patient outcomes.”
