The Defense Health Information Technology Division of the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) has awarded a $116 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to ECS to oversee the modernization of IT within its U.S. military treatment facilities.

The objective for the Military Health System (MHS) to offer greater efficiency, ease and access to more than 9.4 million active duty personnel, military retirees and military families seeking medical care. “As ECS continues to innovate within the areas of infrastructure service and health information technology, we look forward to serving NIWC and DHA in this critical modernization endeavor,” said George Wilson, president of ECS, in a statement.
