Stryker Corp. said Monday that it promoted Kevin A. Lobo, the boss of the company's orthopedics division, to president and CEO of the whole business.
Lobo, 47, joined the medical device company in April last year, and most recently was president of Stryker Orthopaedics.
Before joining Stryker, Lobo held a number of executive positions in health care, consumer and industrial chemical industries. For instance, he was president of Ethicon Endo-Surgery Inc. in 2006, and of Johnson & Johnson's Canadian medical products division the year before that.
Quest Imaging Solutions provides all major brands of surgical c-arms (new and refurbished) and carries a large inventory for purchase or rent. With over 20 years in the medical equipment business we can help you fulfill your equipment needs
Lobo replaces Curt R. Hartman the chief financial officer and interim CEO since February when former head Stephen MacMillan resigned. Hartman, 48, has gone on to other opportunities, Stryker said, although he will stay on as an adviser as the company looks for a permanent CFO.
