Incepto and DeepHealth have combined their AI technologies for radiology as part of a new partnership.
Europe’s Incepto, a developer of AI solutions for medical imaging, is partnering with U.S.-based RadNet subsidiary DeepHealth to provide European radiologists with access to DeepHealth’s radiology informatics technology, which will be integrated with Incepto’s own AI applications on a single platform.

The two announced their collaboration this past week at the European Congress of Radiology annual meeting in Vienna, saying the platform would be a cloud-native operating system called DeepHealth OS for orchestrating clinical and operational workflows and AI technologies, and that Incepto’s technology would add AI-based diagnostic accuracy and optimized workflow enhancements for use during medical imaging exams.

Incepto’s applications include proprietary and best-of-breed, third-party clinical solutions for MR (SubtleMR, Pixyl.neuro.BV, Pixyl.neuro.MS, Keros, Columbo); Mammography (Transpara); nuclear medicine (SubtlePET, PAIRE); CT (ARVA, QER, Veye Lung Nodules, CINA ICH, CINA LVO, CINA ASPECT); and X-ray (KOALA, HIPPO, LAMA, PANDA, QXR, Boneview, and SmartUrgences). They are used across oncology, ER, and musculoskeletal care in MSK, chest, neuroradiology, and senology imaging, as well as in research.

“On the technical side, this will mean that DeepHealth will leverage Incepto’s AI orchestration platform as part of the DeepHealth OS offering and will integrate the Incepto-curated portfolio of AI solutions to extend their AI solutions to healthcare providers. On the commercial side, DeepHealth will pilot the Incepto offering within the 366+ outpatient imaging centers in the United States operated by DeepHealth’s parent RadNet Inc., and other countries where DeepHealth has an active presence,” said Antoine Jomier, co-founder and CEO at Incepto, in a statement.

Founded in 2018, Incepto’s AI orchestration platform is used by 300 clinics to process over 300,000 radiological exams each month. The addition of its AI technology will complement DeepHealth’s eRAD Radiology Information and Image Management Systems, Aidence lung AI, and Quantib Prostate AI, which have been rebranded as Saige Lung and Prostate and unified through DeepHealth OS.

DeepHealth’s applications address not just image interpretation but also referral management, scheduling and patient engagement, and technologist workflow and interpretation. They are used in over 300 radiology departments and imaging centers worldwide to help perform over 15 million exams annually. Along with Saige Lung and Prostate, it also offers Saige Brain and Breast, and all four applications export results and reports directly to PACS systems.

“Incepto will give more radiology teams across Europe access to our technology, including our lung cancer AI which is currently being used in over 90% of screening sites in the U.K.’s targeted lung cancer screening pilot,” said Sham Sokka, chief operating and technology officer of DeepHealth, in a statement.
