Through a merger with radiology revenue cycle management company ADVOCATE RCM, Ventra Health, a business solutions provider, has entered into the radiology RCM market and created one of the largest end-to-end RCM service companies in America.

A portfolio company of private equity firm Varsity Healthcare Partners, Ventra supplies physician practices, hospitals, health systems, and ambulatory surgery centers with solutions for optimizing anesthesia, emergency medicine, and hospital medicine revenue and reimbursement operations. It also has a multidisciplinary team of experts who provide consulting services for improving operations, maximizing revenue, and reducing expenses.

ADVOCATE RCM includes claims processing infrastructure for radiology, coding services, insights on best practice management, quality payment programs, and merit-based incentive payment system (MIPS) services and reporting. Together, the two companies say they will be able to offer their respective clientele access to more data and analytics, patient engagement, payer contracting, and automation tools.

Among Ventra’s solutions is MedSuite, a cloud-based platform for managing billing in anesthesia care as well as reporting, compliance, and staffing. It can be used for remote workforces and large multisite practices, and accounts for complex codes and time-based services.

The company also has options for emergency and hospital medicine, including its Clinical Documentation Integrity Program and services for accounts receivable and denial management; clinician training, including coding and documentation; data-driven reports on best practices; and dispute resolution services.

ADVOCATE RCM was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Dublin, Ohio. The company’s leadership will maintain their roles in the newly combined organization.
