Perspectum will be showcasing AI-powered whole-image quantitative liver fat measurement for hepatic fat without a biopsy. The fully automatic analysis excludes liver structures that can confound other ways of measuring liver fat and has been developed within Perspectum's clinical analysis service to handle real data as taken in clinical practice. Perspectum's MRCP+ technology measures the 3D biliary tree within the liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. This proprietary technology has been studied as a biomarker in patients with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC). Physicians caring for those with PSC need an objective, longitudinal measure of biliary tree health in order to titrate treatment.
A third RSNA presentation demonstrates how to extend the utility of MRCP+ to patients for whom motion might be a problem. This new method would increase image quality, and efficiency.
