Digisonics has added new capabilities to its zero-footprint WebView application for improved clinician workflows and ease of use. Accessible from any HTML5 capable browser or operating system including PCs, Macs, iPads and tablets, WebView is the ideal solution to provide clinicians with fast, secure access from home or anywhere to their cardiovascular patient images and reports. To meet security requirements, no applications or plugins are installed on the viewing device and no patient health information is downloaded.
The latest enhancements added include report editing capabilities with e-signature. Once studies are finalized in WebView, the same automated processes for report distribution to the EMR and referring physicians occur just as they would from the local workstation. WebView can also be integrated within the EMR for the convenience of providing direct access to the patient images and report from the patient record.
