LONG ISLAND, NY – April, 2019 – Prestige Medical Imaging (PMI) the largest independent provider of digital imaging technology and services for medical facilities, is pleased to announce that they have installed a State-of-the-Art Digital X-Ray System for the National Hockey League’s (NHL) New York Islanders at NYCB Live: Home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, east of New York City.

Mr. Bill Haussmann, Chief Executive Officer for Prestige Medical Imaging (PMI), comments, “We’re very excited to be installing this State-of-the-Art Digital Radiography Room, which consists of Carestream Digital Radiography System, for the New York Islanders at the Coliseum, in addition to PMI providing all of the X-Ray equipment and X-Ray Technologist at the Barclays Center.”

Along with upgrading the CR solutions with DR technology at the Coliseum, PMI also is providing a complete partnership with the New York Islanders and their technologist, providing a dedicated and responsive 24/7 customer support team to handle critical imaging applications.

In many cases players can be back on the ice within minutes.”

Earlier this year PMI also partnered with another 2019 NHL playoff team, the Columbus Blue Jackets and provided them with advanced digital imaging technology for their athletes.
