ARRT appoints new Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Relationship Manager

(Feb. 27, 2018) — The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists welcomes Lisa Hazen, R.T.(N)(ARRT), CNMT, FSNMTS, to our staff as Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Relationship Manager. Hazen, who joined ARRT’s staff on Feb. 26, will be responsible for fostering relationships within the Nuclear Medicine Technology community. In this newly created role, Hazen will work closely with professional societies, credentialed professionals, medical and technology organizations, educators, and students.

“As a leader in Nuclear Medicine Technology credentialing, ARRT is interested in working with industry partners to increase visibility and growth of this discipline,” says Christopher Cook, Director of Strategic Communications. “Lisa has dedicated her career to Nuclear Medicine. Her strong ties to the NMT community will help ARRT further develop high standards for NMT credentialing.”

Before joining ARRT, Hazen worked for Merge Healthcare as a Cardiovascular Specialist while acting as an NMT consultant for various organizations. She also was a member, committee chair, and elected NCOR representative for the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI). In addition, she has been a member, officer, and committee chair for the SNMMI Central Chapter.

Hazen holds a bachelor of science degree in Nuclear Medicine from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.
