Oncology rumors

by Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | July 20, 2016
The oncology industry is evolving
In so many ways, health care is in a state of flux. Some companies are expanding, others are contracting and others are changing the way they do business.

I am quite certain that in the next few days you will be learning that one major health care manufacturer has decided to discontinue its manufacturing of cyclotrons.

Would you care to guess which manufacturer?

I predict that another manufacturer of linear accelerators is expected to close a big order for linear accelerators in Cuba.

It is interesting to me that the oncology business is evolving in a way that means both growing and contracting at the same time.

Frankly, I predict that we will see lots of growth in oncology and I am looking forward to attending ASTRO this September.
