Chicago has more than 18,000 restaurants. These are my favorites.

Going to RSNA is always an experience. Seeing the latest and greatest products and services from some of the biggest companies in the industry
as well as from emerging companies is something I look forward to every year. I also look forward to visiting great Chicago restaurants.

Here are some of my favorites from over the years:

The Boarding House Contemporary Creative Created by the well-known Sommelier and TV personality Alpana Singh, The Boarding House shines with an sumptuous, creative contemporary menu and a carefully curated wine list created by the master herself. $$$ 720 N. Wells 312-280-0720

Pump Room Contemporary Classic The one-of-a-kind Chicago legend which for decades fed and entertained the world's best known entertainers has been re created into a chic and trendy hang out with swanky leather chairs, celestial orbs and a cream tone space. This is a place for dramatic people, dramatic atmosphere and creative food. $$$$ 1301 N State Pkwy. 312-787-3700

Benny's Chop House Steak Benny's pleases diners with classic chophouse fare including both dry and wet aged beef, and sumptuous sides. Add in live music several days each week and Benny's provides for plenty of pleasure for the senses. $$$$ 444 N. Wabash Avenue 312-626-2444

Catch 35 Seafood Catch 35 is a well-established and consistently high rated seafood restaurant serving freshly flown-in seafood. The contemporary, yet cozy atmosphere is complemented by a seasoned wait staff. A good place to entertain clientele that's lively yet easy on the ears. $$$ 35 W. Wacker Drive 312-346-3500
