St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan auctioned off its Sixth Avenue apartment for $67 million to Stonehenge Partners, according to media reports. Stonehenge came out on top over 23 bids received.

The building, located at 555 Sixth Ave. near West 15th Street, was primarily used to house members of St. Vincent's staff. Proceeds of the sale will go to pay back creditors.

In order to approve the sale, a hearing will be held today at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. If approved, the sale is scheduled to take place July 15.

The city's last Catholic hospital filed for bankruptcy in April, $700 million in debt after months of financial hardships.

When St. Vincent's filed for bankruptcy it announced it would be selling its assets and auctioning off its property, including 178 apartments and a parking garage.

Stonehenge representatives could not be reached for comment.
