DMS Topline Medical announced Tuesday that they have expanded into used diagnostic imaging parts. The company is already a national leader in used and reconditioned monitoring equipment, ultrasound systems, rentals and related parts.

"Independent service providers provide a valuable resource to the market place and end user customers in relation to used parts. They offer an alternative source for quality parts versus purchasing new parts directly from OEMs," Richter told DOTmed News.
He noted that, as healthcare facilities continue to keep their diagnostic imaging equipment longer, DMS Topline Medical provides an affordable option for equipment maintenance with used MRI, CT, PET/CT, Vascular and X-Ray parts.
As DOTmed News previously reported, DMS recently promoted Don Reko to the position of Parts Specialist.
"What we're seeing is that, given the state of the economy, hospitals and service organizations have gone from buying everything from the OEM to a focus on saving dollars," Reko told DOTmed News. "Customers are making a tradeoff decision between new, more expensive parts and used, refurbished, or repaired parts to meet needs at a significant cost savings."
DMS offers MRI, CT, PET/CT, Vascular and X-Ray replacement parts for Philips, GE and Siemens systems, including items such as control panels, covers/shields, tubes, coils, system electronics, amps, power supplies and processors equipment. All parts are cleaned, tested and come with a warranty.
