Don Reko Named Parts Specialist at DMS

Don Reko from DMS
DMS Health Technologies recently promoted Don Reko to the position of Parts Specialist, concentrating on diagnostic imaging part sourcing, and supporting the DMS Topline Medical division.
Reko has been with DMS Health Technologies since 2007, serving as a parts buyer in the purchasing department. His new appointment is a timely response to industry trends.
"What we're seeing is that, given the state of the economy, hospitals and service organizations have gone from buying everything from the OEM to a focus on saving dollars," Reko told DOTmed News. "Customers are making a tradeoff decision between new, more expensive parts and used, refurbished, or repaired parts to meet needs at a significant cost savings.
"We pride ourselves in knowing the history of the part--for example that it came from a functioning system. We know the pedigree of the part," Reko said.
Reko came to DMS with over 21 years of customer service experience. He received his masters in management from the University of Mary and his bachelor of science in business management from Arizona State University.
