The Oridion Capnostream 20p is a bedside patient monitor equipped with Microstream™ technology.
The Capnostream 20p provides a complete measurement of a patient’s oxygenation and ventilation status. It is suitable for both intubated and non-intubated patients, from neonates to adults.
The new Capnostream 20p monitor includes the Apnea-Sat Alert feature, which alerts caregivers to repetitive patterns of apneas (temporary cessation of breathing) and oxygen desaturation (lower oxygen levels). This feature provides a more comprehensive view of a patient’s respiratory status.
These algorithms help reduce alarms and simplify patient monitoring, enhancing safety and clinical efficiency. Screens out low amplitude ‘non-breath’ etCO₂ excursions (e.g., talking, crying, or snoring).

The Capnostream 20p is compatible with central monitoring systems, interfaces with nurse call systems, and integrates with electronic medical records. Additionally, it features an internal printer for convenient bedside documentation.
