This ECT Machine is Somatics most current model machine. This listing does not include the patient leads and they will have to be acquired before it can be used. I was able to power it up and it passes the internal "selftest". The buttons and displays properly respond and the printer is working. Everything seems to be working properly with the testing I am able to perform and I can't find a thing wrong with it. Guaranteed not to be DOA!
Comes with the Somatics Thymatron System IV Electroconvulsive device, Built in printer, operating manual on CD and power cord. The printer is working properly. I have posted several pictures during my testing. There is a switch on the back to quickly change from 115V to 230V input. According to the Somatics website this device is better than the MECTA machine in capability and treatment. Their website is very informative and I suggest you take a look.

The Thymatron System IV is available with a four-channel printer for recording EEG/EMG/ECG and more-than meets the current Royal College of Psychiatrists ECT recommendations and ensures that it will comply with future ones. The Thymatron System IV is also leading the way with new development and upgrades to the ECT machine such as the new Anaesthesia Depth Monitor and the Ultrabrief 0.25 ms pulsewidth stimulus that reduces cognitive side effects.

Condition & Testing
This system is in excellent cosmetic and tested working condition. It powers up and properly passes the internal self check and then reads "No Base" on the display. This is exactly what should occur according to the manual. Responds to the controls properly. All displays are properly working. I push the treatment button and the treatment timer starts recording treatment time. The printer is working properly. The printer does print out a chart graph. The internal clock is working properly and the current date and time is printed. No other testing has been done. The painted finish is really nice but there is some minor paint loss around edge trim. I believe this system is in working condition and ready to use as soon as you receive it.
