Respironic / Novametrix Capnogard CO2SMO ETCO2/SpO2 is a lightweight, easy to use, combination capnograph and pulse oximeter monitor designed for use in a variety of clinical settings.
* Provides reliable measurement, display and alerts for, end tidal carbon dioxide (ETCO2), respiration rate, functional pulsatile oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate.
* Built in sampling system allows CO2 monitoring of non-intubated patients.
* Numerical and waveform information is presented on a bright Cold Cathode Display (CCD) with user adjustable contrast to optimize viewing angles.
* simple menu system allows user selection of measurement and display options. Alerts are menu programmable or automatic.
* Presence of a pulse is indicated audibly by a user-selectable “beep”.
* Separate 24 hour trends for ETCO2, respiration rate, SpO2 and pulse rate are updated every 8 seconds.
* Trend “events” and audible alarm status (Audio Off) are also stored in trend memory. CO2SMO has a serial port (RS232) for interfacing to external equipment.
* Can be powered from the AC Mains or from its rechargeable two-hour battery (new battery required).
