This German made kit comes complete with 3 batteries (9.6V) and the original remote control and carrying case. It powers up, responds to keypad and remote inputs and has a working audio alarm. The input collector appears to work, however it requires HYCON Agar Strips and perhaps a sampling head mount for them on the front of the unit. There is a picture of the area in question with the metal cover removed. Without a manual or an exploded view of the instrument it is hard to know what it should look like. One of the three batteries is charged. I have no idea how they can be charged. I will try a Makita 9.6VDC charger I have elsewhere and include it if it does the job.
