Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.

Over the last week I have had the pleasure of speaking to Dan Vukelich, Horace Hunter, Himanshu Gupta and Jörn Meissner. Each interview is approximately five minutes long, or a few minutes over five.

In this installment, I check in with Dan Vukelich, president of the Association of Medical Device Reprocessors (AMDR), regarding the untapped potential for reprocessing in healthcare, how COVID-19 has highlighted those benefits, and what factors stand in the way of increased reprocessing.

In this installment, I check in with proton therapy expert and CEO of Meissner Consulting, Jörn Meissner, to discuss the development and construction of new proton facilities, how the pandemic is impacting those projects, and what trends he sees impacting the proton therapy market going forward.
